Brent Morgan, Chief Technology Officer

Brent Morgan - Chief Technology Officer

Brent joined MTW’s Executive Team in February 2025 as Chief Technology Officer, being promoted from within after a long career with the company. Upon graduating from Missouri State University in May 1998, with a degree in General Business with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems, Brent joined MTW Corporation working with the insurance software development group. As Brent matured within the organization, he helped support the sales team with his technical expertise along with his daily development tasks supporting the development groups. Brent quickly earned opportunities to lead small and large teams within MTW Corporation and was counted on as a reliable technical resource.

In 2005, Brent joined MTW Solutions when the US Government practice was spun off as a separate company. At that time Brent provided technical leadership and development of MTW’s first product GMS. MTW expanded their product line with COMPAS in early 2009, which Brent was assigned to design and build out the main architecture and infrastructure of the application.

In late 2009, Brent took a break from MTW, and pursued opportunities at two other organizations, Balance Innovations and Valorem Consulting Group. In both organizations Brent served in senior/director level positions. Brent provided leadership in technology, business intelligence, sales, project management, and customer relationships.

Brent returned to MTW in late 2013 as our Chief Technologist. Using his new experiences from Balance and Valorem, Brent was able to quickly expand on the product capabilities of MTW’s offerings. Brent continues to offer significant technical insight crafting the architecture of MTW’s newest product Harvest, which began in October 2019. Building off the Harvest architecture, Brent began a reimagining of GMS in August 2023 to prepare for a significant upgrade to the GMS architecture and user experience.
